Very rarely films with commercial mood contain social messages. That is what recognized by Dr Divyasri of People Tree Foundation in ‘Cigarette’ Kannada cinema that is in the direction of Lucky Shanker and produced by Shiv Kabbin of Shivshanker Film Factory.

According to Dr Divyasri on the anti tobacco day 70 percent of smokers are having intention of giving up but they need assistance to stop it.

A purposeful film on ‘Cigarette’ ill effects has completed 85 percent of shooting. This film has a song on India Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there is another song with twenty different languages words in the film. The song of BR Lakshman Rao Bidalaare Naa Cigarette….adu Kushi Koduva Hoge…is also in this film.

Introducing new talent and encouraging good subjects we started ‘Shivshanker Film Factory and it is succeeding from 90 and Devraaane says Shiv Kabbin producer of the film.

Roopasri female lead in the film has three shades in the film that stars hat trick director Nagashekhar as hero in the film. Nagashekhar has given up smoking after he took up this film but unfortunately Roopasri smokes in this film ‘Cigarette’.  Nagashekhar says this film has action, powerful dialogues besides powerful message.

Roopasri went back to college days campaign against smoking she took part. She is surprised with small girls addicted to smoking today. Rakshita Ponnamma new actress from this film got a chance from director cum actor Nagashekhar. She is quite happy with the film atmosphere.
